Our mission

Hot Water Savings exists to make the switch from gas and electric storage hot water to heat pumps simple, transparent, and affordable. Only a small fraction of Australian homes use heat pump water heaters today — largely because choosing the right system is confusing. We are changing that.

Our goal is to give every household access to clear, evidence-based advice tailored to their home, usage, and budget.

What we do

We combine specifications for heat pumps available in the Australian market with real usage data from households across the country. That lets us estimate running costs, payback periods, and environmental impact for your specific situation — not generic lab figures from overseas.

Through our recommendation report and HydroSmart dashboard, we give you the tools to understand your options, track performance after installation, and make informed decisions at every step.
